Dory at the King’s Birthday Party

British Embassy, Oslo
A splendid afternoon indeed. While Dory was created as a door sign, it proves just as useful wherever flexible communication and a refined look are needed — no cables, no charging, just quiet clarity.
At the British Embassy’s annual King’s Birthday Party, Dory signs accompanied the celebration of the King, all things British, and the close friendship between the UK and Norway. Each sign displayed vendor names, QR codes and details — like a polite butler, always present yet unobtrusive.

The event mixed British charm and humour in equal measure. The highlight came when the day’s speaker appeared in a sparkling Union Jack outfit, delivering razor-sharp wit with full confidence. Only afterwards did I learn she was, in fact, the Ambassador herself.
It was a real privilege to attend and to see Dory in such fine company. Warm thanks to the Embassy team for the invitation, and to everyone who shared kind words about our product.

On a personal note, I was joined by Tarald Trønnes, an early advisor and constant supporter of Dory, and reconnected with an old friend from Lindeberg — now working in national security, thankfully with slightly safer experiments than the fireworks of our youth.
Say hey, your way™
